  1. much more interesting though then the constant dull and cold weather we've been having
  2. you and me both, if they want cold weather that badly, then they should be planning to move to a colder place
  3. first time this year i was able to sit on my stye facing the countryside, whilst that wind still has a chill to it when the sun goes behind the clouds, as soon as that cloud goes past you can feel yourself warming up quickly. Though i'm still wearing a coat, t-shirt, vest and thick trousers. It will have to warm up quite a bit (lows 20s) for me to just be in a jumper
  4. let's hope that pushes its way towards us to get out of this dreaded cold
  5. it definitely was as multiple car alarms were going off and my electronic items decided to wake up and go back to sleep again
  6. had a power cut this morning and only just now it is all ok, that the longest it has been out for since last January
  7. we had it yesterday... but not every area got the snow
  8. I really hope that will come off, last summer was lovely
  9. just woke up now and I was thinking before pulling up my blinds that it would be damp and overcast and when I saw that it was, it put a smile on my face because it was 100% predictable
  10. at least if there isn't going to be storms in summer, it will still be nice going outside unlike right now
  11. I hope it won't be too long until signs of proper warmth is showing, i'm missing it a lot
  12. yuck more cold, i wish we could hibernated and wake up in april where spring is properly here as it's just full on depressing now
  13. might as well post models a few months ahead if you believe that will happen
  14. This is what really pees me off is the ever so expansion of homes taking over our countryside, it's the only thing I like in England more then many other places in the world, England's weather is depressing compared to many other places in the world, many places are stuck in the 80s/90s making them look like a homeless person's stronghold, I could go on but I might get banned or into arguments but let's just say the countryside is the only thing I like to see everytime when i'm travelling around especially when it's sunny. so much for "Kent, the garden of England"
  15. whilst yesterday was miserable i'm glad that today has gone back to being springlike and hope it continues being springlike this far forward
  16. hope like last year, that was a lovely summer besides the few days going over 35c then I can say it could tone down a bit unless you live near the coast.
  17. Then you must be in an unfortunate location as here it has been blue skies for just over a week now, with a few days in the morning having light cloud and then breaking into clear sunshine
  18. the clear blue skies are the best thing for winter at the moment, at least you're able to feel warmth now in the sun which is so much better then overcast skies with chilly wind (though for me it's absolutely freezing wind)
  19. could we have a model output for people who just want to see some mild/warmth on the charts now
  20. love seeing the blue skies and sun again, but I hope this dry weather if it continues for weeks on end isn't a sign of a wet summer *cough* 2012 *cough*
  21. and the closer it gets, the more i'm looking forward to it
