What is it with these daily Antonovs flying overhead at this time?
Car parts for JLR I think.
At work we move a lot of stuff into Europe and are struggling to get trucks to move stuff so I imagine there is a need to get parts in a bit quicker.
Could be wrong mind.

Yeah always bad by B&Q, I'm sure the path toward Tesco & the M53 is a write off. I wonder how high the Birkett is getting too (by the golf course) , I've noticed that getting higher & higher over the years, won't be long before that breaks onto the slip road one day.
I went to Tesco about 5pm, Birkett was really high then. The part of the road by B&Q which always seems to get flooded was clear though unusually.

Except for your festering sore incubating in the far reaches of a hospital...
They've not cut us off from the mainland yet so all good so far.

When I see that cell on the SE coast and compare it to what we had earlier it's just depressing, especially when what we had earlier turned into a supposed supercell
Had a good view of that from the M56 around Runcorn junction when driving home earlier, looked amazing.

We're staying in Tal-Y-Bont near Barmouth for a week from Saturday, would be nice to see some snow whilst we're there
-
Bbq plan for this evening looks scuppered but I don't mind if it means we get some thunderstorms.

Indicates a streamer. A stream of showers.
Cheers
Why in the context of that chart though, what am I looking for? Is that 2 fronts meeting?

Very hazy ,lots of continental dust blown deep out west .
That would explain all the dust on my car once the slight covering of snow from last night had melted.

As much as I like snow and wintery weather when you're commuting 80 miles a day during the week its better to have it at the weekend.

That’s so true! I went out yesterday and had to look twice before I realised it was salt and not snow ???
Best were going to get here, pretend winter wonderland!
Yesterday was odd, seemed to be snow in the air for hours but really fine stuff, looked like sand as it was swirling around on the ground in the wind.
Was at Morrison's earlier and the wind was really bitter.
