  1. I'm not bothered anymore, we all know it's not going to snow for xmas and that's all that mattered to me, another xmas not feeling seasonal it's very much the norm for the uk unfortunately.
  2. Wasn't sure where to ask this but a coronal hole is about to strike on the 8 th Dec, could it have an effect on our weather ?
  3. Totally agree, I'm loving it so far, lets just hope it continues, but as we head towards Christmas I'm hoping we get to see some snow too.
  4. Just spotted 2 ladybirds in the garden, is it normal to see them late October? I know there's some mild weather on its way
  5. God I hope not. Enjoyed the last few days feeling cooler and leaves falling of the trees much more seasonal. If it turned mild again it would ruin the rest of October for me.
  6. That's it they've jinxed winter again every year, what a bunch of.........
  7. Yes me too but I'm hoping it cools down considerably by the end of the month a mild October wouldn't be my cup a tea. By the looks of things from what I have been reading on here we could be in for another mild Autumn and Winter, seriously hope not I always look forward to fogs, frosts and crisp sunny days great for walking the dogs plus it feels more seasonal for Halloween and Christmas. As for now though I agree we should enjoy it for now and make the most of it.
  8. I truly hope not, my worst nightmare, I want hard frosts and sunshine, I know its been said over and over again but there are no seasons anymore they all roll into one and there is nothing exciting about that.
  9. Can't believe how dark it was at 9 tonight it just seems to have changed all of a sudden. I'm not complaining though, this is the best time of year for me from now up to Christmas. This is when the weather forums get really interesting.
  10. Hate the word mild for Oct and Nov, mild in those two months is not seasonal, not for me anyway.
  11. I'll take the warm and dry September but definitely NOT warm and dry for October I'd like frosts by then and very cold, and snow come November, it will not happen of course but one can dream.
  12. Yes we have them too. I've noticed the blackberries are out and some are already ripe sure signs that Autumn is near which I love.
  13. Roll on Autumn, fed up with this so called summer, there's still time I guess but I don't hold out much hope to be honest. I find Autumn a more interesting season anyway and winter even more so.
  14. Is it too early for chestnutting? just been to collect some but there isn't any about
