Another yawn fest weather day. At least the met going for something more changeable from midweek onwards here in the south. Summer can do one now. Bring on Autumn. Proper weather! The flip flops can be put away for 7/8 months.

True. They just can't seem to get a handle on anything coming up from the south. The met were equally as bad with their forecasting too for this morning.

Very little of the forecasted sunshine in London this afternoon,looked like it was goung to pee down again a while ago. I think this upcoming settled spell will be a cloudy dry and rather dreary affair with average temperatures. Looking forward to proper autumn weather in a few weeks time. Proper weather to be honest. Love seeing those bad boy lows gearing up in the Atlantic and heading our way. Second only to a good NE blast in the winter. Yes,the tedium of the last few "lovely weather is'nt it" months is nearly over tf!

Another nice drop of rain this morning. 13.8c. This last week's weather will certainly help the late summer veggies and with a warm spell coming up will be great for the spuds.

Perfect day for getting some work done on the allotment. Nice cool 17c with the odd passing shower. Ground is surprisingly damp underfoot,very easy to work with,whiff of autumn in the air for sure.

Great day for Netflix binge watching. 11mm rain here so far.Going to be wetter than average august. Sun back tomorrow.No need to despair.

We will probably get the warmth but looking cloudy and humid for the foreseeable unfortunately. Typical long fetch south-westerly snoozefest weather.

Does anyone recall Gibby and his very detailed yet understandle summary of what the models/charts were showing? He really was excellent imo and saved alot of time wading through verbage. Does he still post anywhere does anyone know?

Strangly the hot 3 months of may june and july havent really had much effect on the apples and pears at my allotment. No different to previous years to be honest.Lots of berries though as you. say
