  1. Quite easy to stay out of the sun, as per warnings, as it's cloudy now, but still warm.
  2. This heatwave lark seems a bit overcooked at the moment, current charts locally suggest, Thursday is the only day reserved for any temp above 80f, the South-east and Eastern England appear at the moment to be the area's likely to kop any severe heat.
  3. Well, that GFS 12z run is settled, dry and warm/hot, but no records will be broken on that, but it is only one run.
  4. My local forecast from the MetOffice is only pushing 26/27C max for Thursday/Friday not 30C, so some wires crossed somewhere surely.
  5. This next "heatwave" if it does eventually expose itself, still and always will be limited to the southeastern corner/third of the country, not the whole of the UK.
  6. Had just enough spots of rain to dampen the surface, but now that look likes that's it.
  7. Seems to be fading ads it approaches my location.
  8. Shower just kicked off here over north Wolves, temp - 20.0C.
  9. Being as the way this spring/summer is going, still can't see this "breakdown" going to plan though, pretty much like many of the bizarre results in the Russian World Cup. (Sorry, just had to bring that in to it!)
  10. Still 28 deg C, almost clear skies, ridiculous temp for a northerly at 6pm, unless somewhere in the southern hemisphere.
  11. Cloud has taken over here now, still the occasional flash, but that's it for the time being, temp just made 26.2C.
  12. Don't worry, couple of hours at most, be surprised if it's that long with the sun's strength, got some of the dregs here, starting to lift already, only arrived 1/2 hour ago.
  13. Don't know what people are " moaning " about, because 24 - 27C is perfectly fine to me, especially this time of year, and in direct sunlight, which to some would more than likely be too hot.
  14. The MetOffice has my location (Wolverhampton), only up to the dizzy heights of 18C tomorrow, possibly due to the cloud from the Irish sea again, plus next week only pushing 26C, so hardly sweltering temps from their forecast, just being a little cautious i presume.
  15. Buy a couple of pc fans!, just won't melt quite so quickly.
  16. That north sea mirk flying in at the moment, looking on the satellite.
  17. Our good old friend "The Atlantic" looks like it will be slowly be surely pushing it's way in over the second half of the weekend - on the latest runs that is.
  18. That beautiful cloud has spread in just like treacle.
  19. I think Northern Italy would we very nice, though i think one or two may just get a little tired of the storms.
  20. Pardon my french, but it is absolutely pi**ing down here at the moment.
  21. There is a small group to the north of me, which are drifting south, similar to yesterday when one formed to the west of my location, but that died and didn't reach me.
  22. Looks like it's make the most of today, as the met and beeb say lovely mirk, cloud and NE breeze back all day tomorrow and Tuesday, we shall see. Warm, sunny spells here, after a clear start, temp, 20.7C.
