    Sun is coming in and out here. Not especially warm yet and indeed it may well be quite cloudy possibly through most of the weekend but from monday onwards.........................

    Still can't quite believe with this wind and cloud around that summer's about to hit big time! Seems distant just now but in reality it only a few days away

    Might be looking at 27-28 here which is pretty good indeed. Not very often we get that high!

    I was just going by GFS on wetterzentrale as it seems to show a little energy but probably unlikely anything will break out (a cloud build up if anything)

    There still remains a glimmer of hope for us up here next wednesday inparticulair but still pretty unlikely (better than nothing I suppose)

    Storm risk for next tuesday although still there, has been toned down (earlier was showing a lot of yellow over scotland for tuesday) more toned down to green

    Seems to GFS that the heat up here on tuesday will cause the atmosphere to go bang (unless i'm mistaken) although I know very likely it will change

    Really heavy burst of rain came through all of a sudden! So much for patchy rain ha!

    Could always look for spanish webcams see if anything kicks off there..................

    And the 27th/28th last year was such a tease event! Did look like maybe at times a storm or something would end up moving in to us but never did in the end. Was amazing to see the reports/posts those days though

    GFS never never land at 348/360 has thrown a possible stormy spell so it seems? (watch it disappear soon)

    Not much better here either. All of a sudden it's got really cloudy and quite breezy (and spots of rain now I think) welcone to summer scotland style!

    I said this in the scotland thread the other day. Last June (and August) was cracking for us for storms at times. This year it's just not got going for whatever reason. (although I not in the NSC as I got a flash and bang earlier in the year) has been disappointing though so far

    Heaviest shower of the day crossing over now skies looked menacing before the torrent unleashed

    Still a nice afternoon believe it or not! Avoided virtually all of the rain/thundery showers today
