  1. 10c here in tropical West Oxon 🌧 If we gonna have mild bring it on properly i say....roll spring/summer!
  2. Blowing a good one here. 40-50mph gusts I reckon. Very warm too!
  3. Sad, and shows why warnings are issued Storm Isha live: Two die as Storm Isha brings down trees across UK - BBC News WWW.BBC.CO.UK People in Scotland and Northern Ireland die as a result of fallen trees, with warnings of another storm on the way.
  4. Scousers obviously stole it along with 4 goals
  5. Just had a quick wander outside and our neighbourhood is pretty noisy at the moment with clattering and banging going on! Safe to say the storm has hit!
  6. Gusts definitely picking up now in West Oxon, becoming stronger and more frequent.
  7. Was fairly lively here couple hours ago but a bit of a lull since as the rain moved through.
  8. Trees are roaring nicely here. 30-40mph gusts I reckon. Getting the dog walking out of the way!
  9. Bournemouth V Liverpool kicks off at 1630. Bit surprised this hasn't been postponed already from a travelling fans perspective more than trying to control a football
  10. Yes it's unbelievable really and just shows how some people live in a bubble. Unfortunately it's likely some poor soul will lose their life from this storm. One bad decision or wrong place wrong time and it's game over. The warning are there to minimise such things and prepare accordingly. Stay safe everyone
  11. I live west of oxford very near the amber cut off. Perhaps later I'll walk a mile to the left and report back
  12. Met office will have to crack open a new pack of orange crayons if those gusts materialise in land.
  13. Funnily enough I was about to post similar. I cannot remember a storm this intense for my area that has lasted 8 hours in recent times? We've had some 50mph gusts last few months I think but only for a short period. This will be around 60/65 mph so pretty wild by all accounts.
  14. Should be a countrywide amber I think despite this being an evening/overnight event. Hopefully people will avoid travel and trampolines!
