7.3C and 78mm, much bigger chance of E'ly winds, less of Atlantic
-
Friday has a chance of 200m plus for wet snow, GFS too far north, UKMO maybe okay for higher levels
members like Kasim Awan I'd expect to see a few cms of snow fri into sat
-
donald, still dark here 6-6.30am, lighter for a time, but then one of my least favourite nights of the year, spring forward, dark again 6-6.30am

must be due a warm May, or at least one warm/hot spell, 30C in May? should be possible now, if not then we're surely due a late 20's day or two
-
Aye folks but another soaker wet through day for me, on Thursday (leap day) to Lichfield/King's Bromley, risked trench foot Thursday just gone, couldn't avoid walking through flood water

Spring sprung already before today, first appearance of ice cream van, convective cumulus, signs of summer, now who will win Wimbledon?

very warm sun beating down on me, around 14.40, whilst waiting for the bus in King's Bromley, certainly a 'summer' feel to things now, but could be down to just 10 degrees by Thurs
-
warm feeling today too, except for Lichfield bus station which felt chilly

because you're in the north west! London/SE nearly always get better weather on average off a high to SE, low to NW setup
-
North facing is hell in evenings in heat! south must be cooler as the air coming in will likely be from the south, and sun goes off rooms around 5pm

mild crew will love heavy rain and gales, eh, snooker champion namesake and fallout game
I prefer it mild and dry/sunny, if not sunny, then I'll settle for cloudy

Come on Spring! arriving next week (south) maybe for holiday week, 14-15 Wed/Thurs
I often think Feb is more early spring

90's for me at least here, may be different elsewhere, loads of very good snow events, much more than 2000+, may not be classed as cold winters in the stats, but were the best for me

doubt anything like Dec 3rd, which was very good here, low levels could see wet snow, high levels settling snow
