  1. reminds me of last few weeks forecasts SS, I prefer the repeat option of warm Tue/Wed, rather than crappy Atlantic air, Sept now so hopefully temps not too hot if plume comes off not really a heat fan, nor of course Atlantic air fan (although obviously an Atlantic air believer) for 0ct, I would like fantasy thoughts of deep southerlies from Africa, bringing sunny warm days at 25°
  2. maybe more midweek warmth? the trend of this summer I wouldn't rule it out, happened last year as well Tue and Wed over Wimbledon
  3. agree with that, but it's roaring in tomorrow, wet start for me in the west
  4. like some people wear jackets, jumpers etc last 2 days, and think bloody 'ell they must be 'ot and I'm just in bare arms, but we all feel different
  5. not bad I'd say, but for me likely wetter, maybe wetter London too, but nothing like here
  6. Need slight shift NW, SS, then we have it again! mini 'plume' /warm spike timed for Tue to Thur period, then no doubt rubbish by Fri
  7. here just Tue and Wed warm, the theme of the summer, warm tue and wed, then back to crap for Thurs
  8. agree with that, think everyone knows it won't be a white Xmas away from mountains oop norf my Xmas prediction, wet and windy, full on zonal, gales and flooding possible, 12° for most of the south, 8° much of the north
  9. been a trend this summer for decent weather to develop on a monday (SE), here on a tuesday, sometimes wednesday as well, and breaking down on Thurs/Fri, then starting again with decent Tuesday cheese, it's true that, I'm still fully in sumer mode at the moment, northerlies can wait, don't want 'em yet
  10. where's summer thread gone?????? still summer weatherwise after Sunday, very summery GFS even here, sunny and 24-25° Tue to Fri on GFS, then chance of an E-W battle drawing up a southerly
  11. great summers day today, my favourite summer weather, but just started to bucket down out of nowhere
  12. not a bad Summer, but generally too far north and west here, a few vile days, 10th Aug I remember feeling cold, never mind chilly, even though I rate Aug as the best summer month, hopefully Sept can better it? but here the 3rd is looking foul!
  13. well, maybe not, models and SS post above, summer maybe continuing?
  14. Dec 2010 horror show? eh? best winter month after 2000! makes a change from the usual rain Atlantic and 12°
  15. ay the other day, but on 00Z's now GFS just looks more 'sensible' for UK's weather, Atlantic air and showery under 20°
