  1. Next week looking cold and dry, maybe odd passing snow flurry, but turning milder between 19th-21st, from then I expect some very mild, even warm air at times with the flooding and met office named storms
  2. it is yes, my location somehow is classed as W Midlands, but to me W Midlands is B'ham area
  3. rain back with flooding soon, from around 20th with double figure temps
  4. Snow fans don't look at GFS 18Z, all gone for Wed/Thur, this looks realistic though, very poor run though if it's snow you're after
  5. The icon chart, top one will be useless here, Manchester/Preston etc in firing like for over a foot
  6. need winds more NW'ly here, this will bury SK4, like 20th Dec '09 and 5th Jan '10
  7. around same as this Dec, 8cms or so, but the 2 days after were below zero with clear skies, before the Atlantic rolled in for 2001, after a bit of leading edge snow on new years eve
  8. put similar in NW thread, as I am in NW of this region, close to Crewe, that and 27th to 28th Dec 2000
  9. flow looks too straight on Monday, wishbone, but that is our only hope I think, winds look WNW on tues, so could be a window of NW'lys on Mon night
  10. definitely coldest feeling wait today for the 12, when it's dry with no snow on ground or due, think I'd rather it was mild and the EC for Monday is a 'waste'? -9 850's but wishbone effect
  11. GFS 00Z practically snowless, expect it to be near enough the result, certainly about the low going into France, then we turn milder with a whimper on 19th
  12. Straight northerly is wishbone effect, showers down east coast, and a possible Pembrokeshire dangler, dry with clear blue skies for central parts
  13. basing it on snow cover from Wed's low! when realistically the low will slide into France, keeping us high and dry with frost/sun
  14. few spots of rain under it there was too, milder of course today
  15. let's have a good Wimbledon! those traditional childhood sunny, hot ones, 1st to 14th July this year, but a very westerly time of year
  16. Aye, very likely was thinking the same, these runs will start to downgrade, we could be snow free
