toggerob not good, i hope something is sortted out somehow. Unfortunately sounds like a mass relocation issue, but that will mean a huge building plan somewhere, and will take some time.

lottiekent same, it was a beautiful day.

LightningLover had one in march, well it was elevated and came south up from France anyway, but it was in a cold south easterly flow, had some dangerous cloud to ground lightening, a bit of snow in the heavy centre, and caused lots of damage in this corner from the lightning, including shutting down the railways, due to hitting or effecting quite a few rail substations. It also had the loudest thunder I'd ever heard in my life, it was literally like an explosion, might have been one perhaps, if that was what blew the Dover rail substation. Car alarms went off, electric all over Dover went off for about a minute, well felt that long anyway, and the rumble seemed to go on forever.

lassie23 might not be, lol let see where this low goes, probably Spain knowing our luck, or just may be we'll get the jackpot. Just one of those things, and not sometimes to get emotional about on every run, don't have the energy for the chase this time myself, so have stayed out of the mod thread

lassie23 if they stopped looking for one type of weather and started analysing charts properly for what they actually show, I might join in more. Some good posters there including our Eagle eye, but the moaners hunting for cold/or heat in summer just ruin the whole thing for me.

MAF I'm cold, was wearing gloves today, no sun.

@MAF doesn't feel anywhere near that warm I'm cold and need gloves, been the same since this so called warm spell started. Felt warmer before this.
Only 8c here I've checked met obs.
