    Stopped in Leicester now. Some nice big flakes this morning. It's not left much a covering, slowly melting away.

    Ah man, there was a period of about 30mins of relatively heavy ish snow. Now it's barely visible from the window. Extremely light now.

    Still nothing of note here. It's been snowing very lightly here for a few hours but its not settling. Just looks wet. Is it meant to get any heavier?

    The only snow Met Office are forecasting for Leicester now is some light snow at 21:00, with it raining all the way up until 21:00.

    I refreshed the page and its still showing as heavy snow for the whole of Sunday. Google 'metoffice Leicester' and click the first link 'Leicester weather forecast'.

    Yeah I've been browsing a snow related thread on another non-weather related forum I use and the pictures being posted are truly incredible. A lot more snow than last friday. It seems to be relentless in certain areas.

    Ice pellets which have turned into sleety rain in Leicester as 15 mins ago. Currently in gym with no windows and will be for the next hour or so - so pls post if heavy snow starts chucking it down so I can run out of gym and have a look!

    Met Office have moved the heavy snow forecast tomorrow from 18:00 to 21:00 - the precipitation probability is >95%. The highest I've seen!

    Eh, iPhone weather app has changed from showing snow on Friday to it just being cloudy. Not even rain. Rather bizarre. I believe the source the app uses is Yahoo. Can any recommend a better weather app please?

    I know!! - looked out the window and couldn't quite believe it. The road got completely covered within about 10 minutes!
