  1. Feels very thundery here, milky skies and cumulous bubbling up all around
  2. Really contemplating a chase tonight now, couldn't push it too far south as I'm at work in the morning but heading as far down the M1 as possible is tempting me.
  3. @Eagle Eye your forecasts are so appreciated. Keep it up, amazing work
  4. Well, 2024, another year, another storm season! good luck everyone, i'll be out chasing within a local-ish vicinity this year, always happy to head to the great plains of Linconlshire for some storms though!
  5. Really promising start to the storm season! Bring on summer!
  6. First thunder of the year, saw a CG bolt off to the SE and a distant rumble to follow
  7. Rufus Butterfield Radar still down, just gone very dark here, skies looking mean to the SW
  8. Big flakes here and it's sticking nicely, already sounds like mayhem on the higher routes looking at FB travel info
  9. Some areas showing 200mm on the radar accumulation It's still raining here, cannot remember a day like this in my entire life, constant rain literally all day
  10. 60 People rescued today from homes and businesses in Chesterfield by Derbyshire FRS
  11. Probably best trying to reach the M1, some side roads on higher ground to the East of the town are still passable but the town centre is a complete write off
  12. Hipper is rapidly falling and it looks like the Rother is finally peaking, the gauge at Hady Hill reached 4.2m, 85cm above the previous high in June 2007! However, we still have moderate rainfall and the radar looks grim
