Fen Wolf Yes afterwards when someone else mentioned it on my FB post the earthquake swarm was another lateral movement of the dyke intrusion just like the Nov 10th one inflation continues to rise Svartsengi but we have to see what trend this takes in the next day or so.

Model Output Discussion - Spring Has Sprung
Allseasons-Si replied to Community Team's topic in Forecast Model Discussion
Hi guys, sorry for not posting, been a bit off it of late with my OH's illness the synoptic charts from the models have every chance of verifying an easterly at this time of the year thanks to La nina(cold back end of winter) and with the SSW that has just happened recently would fit the bill too,of course we still have some milage to get it down to T-0 but i have been viewing the charts/anomalies etc for some time now and i do see some consistancy in them here staight out of the blocks is the latest 500mb height anomaly from the EPS currently out to 336 hrs you can see the trough undercut(-ve heights) to the south and +ve heights to the N/NW,this would fetch in an easterly and the wind direction probabilities from De-built showing a strong easterly whether it will be cold enough for snow is yet to be decided for a while but i am keeping an eye or two on this CPC in the same-ish ballpark. i will add further in the coming days if this easterly gains traction night all -
matty40s snowdog There is no eruption,...i would be the first person(unless at work) to notify you if one did happen, next possible eruption date is around the end of the month into next unless something changes drastically i do have notifications from quite a few sources if and when one does happen a few links to Eq's,data etc... Chasbrown Their wording from previous was uncertainty and slightly to be replaced with higher than normal, that's an upgrade but whether it play's that way we will see i do know where you are coming from though so hang fire for now to see if this latest update repeats over the coming days -

The ext'd cpc anomalies look good to me here is last evening's v's this evening's... you can see a better marked trough to our NW over Scandi and more of a retreat of the mid Atlantic trough,...notice the Iberian height's have also vanished. we see how we go towards months end. -

Actually the 18z has the low a bit squashed(rugby ball than bowling ball) hence the snowline is further south than the 12z... still some ironing to be resolved just yet me thinks. -

Northern blocking gaining foothold to our NW on the latest CPC AO taking a tanking E/NE probability winds also gaining traction mid month. and as for Thurdays low,it is too early to say just yet where it positions but i bet there will be some surprise snowfall for some -
