    Its game over then. Its getting clear over here so it is difinatly game over here.

    It were white here this morning and it is all gone now. It just arnt thick enough. But at higher ground it is a different story. I doubt it is gonna snow here anyway.

    I thought it is above freezing here last night but its not. The snow here isnt melted an mm here. Maybe its because 1. Windchill and 2. No Heat Island effect. Theres still little bit of snow on the garden table and It still there yesterday evening.

    The windchill has dropped from -8C to -2C here. BBC says there is no thaw in sight we proved they are wrong.

    according to my ipad weather app it is says Snow for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Im not surprised. Alex deakin on the weather forecast did show some clear skies in north west toight.

    any snow cover and melt water will refreeze and go crusty tonight. As for tomorrow evening maybe snow reaching here, it just depends how the wind is strong enough.

    just watched the forecast on News BBC 24 and it shows tomasz schafernaker again from this morning. It must be recorded. seems like the met office is busy looking at tomorrows weather atm. I really hoping for snow push west enough to reach us.

    The sun is coming down now and the very cold air will be set in tonight with -5 to -10C in places.

    maybe if the Heat Island effect meets the very cold air mass it would possibly pep up the snow showers. Sad that the winds are calmed down.

    looks like snow to me. only 1C Acording to my ipad weather app. flakes gone slight thicker now.

    I still wouldnt rule out a heavy snow shower or two coming across the pennines tomorrow night.Things may get lucky for some of us overnight tomorrow night. Its already midday here and the snow here is only very little sign of it melting.

    I thought bbc weather showed snow over us overnight but it showed clear skies instead! nice. Going to be very icy here overnight tonight with low of -7C to -10C tonight. It be icicles forming overnight. very little melting here. It is quite hard to notice it.
