    Yep, story of the year stormwise. Storm looks to be heading this way then it decays, only for it to spring back to life once it has passed!!

    Got back from a few days in Blackpool and i have been told it has been wet in Telford but no Thunder ( no surprise there!) It has to be the stormless capital of the Midlands?! Coming back on the coach yesterday from Blackpool went through some biblical rain by Liverpool and Stoke then a really heavy downpour in Birmingham with a couple of rumbles of thunder to boot.

    Well i heard 2 loud rumbles of thunder today. Not in Telford tho, am in Blackpool got caught in a huge downpour. Checking the radar looks like the storm sheild is still holding intact over Telford. Shrewsbury and the west midlands hogging it all again :-D

    I see Telford is in the met office warnings today. It will be the only time i will say this but i dont want any storms or rain today! Get married in just over 6 hours. So between 3 and 5 i would like it to stay dry. So Telford storm sheild i say this, please remain on the fullest of power, divert storms to Shrewsbury and the west midlands!

    I must have missed that one lol. I don't recall a storm here i am normally out in the garden at the 1st hint (like yesterday) I know Shrewsbury had a good storm a few weeks back on a Sunday because the bloke i work with said it scared the **** out of his misses lol! But yesterday my mother in law said it chucked it down in here part of Telford, was bone dry here.

    Spare a thought for those poor storm deprived folks in Telford! Even Shrewsbury has seen a storm this year lol!!

    Absolutely throwing it down with nothing here lol! Can see the towers but i think Telford is again going to miss out?!

    Well nice to see the radar pep up once the front got past Telford! I would have been happy with some heavy rain. But the Telford storm sheild remained on full power and made sure that no showers penetrated it!

    If it is clearing up in mid Wales then I think that is it for this neck of the woods. No storms today really thought we may have dropped lucky today but this is Telford! To cap it off they have given rain out for Saturday! My bloody wedding day! Bog of mother nature your not invited lol!!

    Well may as well come in here and put my feet up! Cloud is breaking up here and the sun is coming out. Shropshire is awful for storms! Last storm we had in Telford was that one last year in July. Getting close to a year now without!

    Not heard any thunder and that shower that was over Shrewsbury is dying a death. Looks like us in Shropshire are going to miss out on the fun and games. Looks like anywhere east of here is the sweet spot.

    Back to work today and it looks like it is going to be a hot one! Hopefully it sticks around until Thursday when i break up again... busy month, just celebrated my 40th! Next on the list is getting married on Saturday! Just hope the weather holds for that day.

    Horrid day yesterday. No sunshine at all, not even a hint of brightness! Today started in a similar vain but in the last 10 minute's there is a sliver of blue sky to my north.

    What a dull day, think i picked the wrong week off work! Clouded over yesterday from around 1pm after a bright start. Today looks like it's going to be total cloudzilla all day. Tomorrow is my 40th so im hoping for sunshine but it looks like a rince and repeat of today!

    I was out in the rain, absolutely chucked it down. The blitzortung app on my phone said there was 7 strikes in my vicinity but i saw and heard nothing?!
