    Not all trees flower in May you know. My Pear tree flowers very early on, I'm sure many others do too.

    What sort of camera do you have? It seems to struggle with focussing in low light. You should have stopped off in Chesterfield to get a decent picture of the church

    I would recommend one of the special lights. I have one and if nothing else it certainly makes me feel more awake. I was doing quite well this winter, until January started. Still it will be spring soon, I hope!

    We must have been mad. It was only raining moderately when we set off from Lincoln. Here are a few of the pics I took. Excuse the rainspots, it was a tad damp. These pictures show how much the water rose in just 50 minutes It was great fun even if we did have to strip off in the car and battle through floods on the road back

    They can bite but you don't go near them. You stay behind a fence. Nice Pics. I took over a hundred when I was there.

    2c, Noticably much colder than this morning. Wind picking up too.

    I prefer natural. Fair enough if you crop or clean up a picture using software but when you start changing colours etc then you might as well not bother.

    Hope you have your own wind turbine! I have to say I am nowhere near as bad as usual this year and haven't used my lamp once. I just hope it keeps going. Shortest day soon too so that is a bit of a milestone

    Yes it's definitely aviary bred. It had no ring though so no real way of identifying it. I was a bit worried when I first saw it but it seems to be finding plenty of food and not at all lethargic. I'll keep an eye out for it though.
