This is ace. Like being abroad. Good gusts, heavy rain, sheet lightning, distant rumbles and a warm breeze. All being enjoyed under the lean too with a nice bottle of Shiraz. Perfect.

I originally thought this might be Lyme Bay's night but it seems to be tracking east yet again?

Looking at various output, I cannot see much in the way of convection across the British Isles, apart from Northern and Eastern parts of Scotland - grazing the East coast of England perhaps?! The majority of it stays well out in to the North sea.
Just a typical showery wishbone effect for the most part.
Yep. Nothing more, nothing less. Going to feel chilly unless Your'e out of the wind.

For any of you that are concerned for my sanity after I mentioned the BBC weather graphics, don't be.
I'm more inclined to believe that it will rain sprouts than trust that APP.

Always nice to see snow forecast for central southern England even if it is 9 days away and extremely unlikely to verify. Lol
It will snow in Southern England on this date, it was written in the stars.

Looking like a definite bust here in West Dorset. It's gone from being a warm, humid afternoon to low cloud murkiness and feeling cool. Nothing out of the norm there then.

Turned out to be a beautiful, icy, snowstorm of a night; Not too much, not too little.

Temps dropping here and wind picking up. Smells like it's going to snow, before you all think I'm barking, trust me, snowy air smells different. You office dwellers probably don't notice such things, but us outsiders do.
Deffo! Your'e not alone Jethro.

My boy's school just been closed in Dorchester. Obviously in preperation, not because of any current issues.
Beaminster has just closed as well.

I've just that the Met O have issued a red warning for food in our region
Odd thing is though, our local Co-op isn't running low on things like soup. Its bread, milk, booze. And not in that order.
