I was just on the edge of the March 2013 event. The direction of the wind meant the front of my house got plastered, you couldn't see out the windows .
Lovely and sunny here this morning but blustery. I haven't been outside but I'd be fairly sure the wind would cut you.
Had a good inch or so fall last night and most has melted away. What's left is a slushy mess. Still getting wintry showers going by but they are getting less snow and more to rain now.
Definitely didn't warrant an NI wide amber warning. It stayed as snow here so far but it's so light, I doubt there's even an extra centimetre. Radar looking quieter for a time too, won't have the bands of showers going through anyway
Buses got cancelled so had to get a lift and not long home from work - I finished two hours ago! Winds picking up a bit. Any showers I've seen recently have been light .
Car accident at Owenbeg before the GAA pitch on the Dernaflaw side. Saw a gritter nearly write off some cars at the Hass road in Dungiven as it slide down the brae and I'm late for work. It's been an eventful hour
