Haha. Yes we deserve to sneak in here in LB. We are in the Lee of the Chilterns, so from the SE and Dunstable Downs there is a near 150m drop. Cleverer people than me might know if that is anything to do with it!
Ugh. We get the lighter stuff here in LB. All the interesting stuff off to the east of Beds. The in laws in Bedford getting a pasting by the looks.
Some bits currently in Central London might hit us later. Much more humid than yesterday.
Oh yes, come directly at us now with the boring heavy rain! Shame you couldn’t do that on Tuesday eh. Bastards
Was running in the rain at lunch. Genuinely cold getting back to the house. Far cry from a ridiculously hot walk from the beach to the pub in Poole last weekend.
Oh hang on, might have a direct hit here from the east. Just torrential rain so far.
Update. So that’s the only white shading on the radar so far, just moved away. Torrential rain but no fireworks sadly.
That looks about that for now. Never really had a hum dinger here in LB, always just to the south of us. But ok with the fresher air now.
just months of Atlantic crud to get through before snow talk
Yet more storms approaching in an organised line from the SE, only for the LB storm shelter to rip it to bits and push it westwards. Few flashes towards Aylesbury, as per usual
Hazy nothingness here in LB...funny that purple oblong of warning level 2 thing is basically marking an area of no showers...and all the action is around the outside
Nah. Steady rain, bit of thunder, one loud one. Basically the main action was on a NW course right for us, then took a left turn across the Chilterns. Picked up an Easterly by the looks.
