    I can't confirm anything here in Deiniolen about the snow measurement, but 42cm, especially in the drifts seems to be correct - the snow outside is unbelievable. Temperature is currently -2.4°C and we've had nearly 14 hours of heavy snow. Here's some pics that I've stolen from Facebook of the local area. It's sad, that my Grandfather's funeral is suppose to be at 11am tomorrow morning.

    Still snowing hard here in Deiniolen. Not as windy but heavy snow and a low temperature of -2.6C. Extreme conditions out there tonight, take care!

    I'm right beneath it. It's atrocious. The snow is so heavy it looks like fog.

    It's severe weather here at the moment. Very Heavy Snow, drifts, ice and the gusty winds. How the heck the Met Office doesn't believe that we need a Red warning.

    It's snowing quite heavy here in Deiniolen, but the problem is, it's so windy the snow sticks on walls and windows before the ground, therefore there isn't that much of snow lying on the ground. Power cables seems to be swinging around like mad, so I'm a bit worried we will lose our electricity. But snow totals up to now is nothing compared to some areas in South Wales. Temperature -0.7C

    Yes, still snowing in Deiniolen, and getting heavier as well. Wind is awful.

    Started to snow here in Deiniolen as well...shows how slow the front is, has taken about 2hours for it to arrive from the Lleyn Peinsula.

    Crossing everything I've got that we won't get too much snow in Deiniolen, N West Wales. My granfather's funeral is on Saturday! Currently it's windy, dry and 1.8C .

    Had light to moderate snow since about 6pm and lasted until 9:30ish tonight.

    Was snowing here for about 2 hours, heavy snowflakes, and about 2cm settled on the ground.

    Yeah I'm Deiniolen, therefore a bit high! Still snowing here with a slight dusting. Flakes a bigger now than earlier!

    Temperatures falling slowly here in the centre of Cardiff. Currently 4.5C , and was about 2C milder overnight, so there is a cold trend. We'll just have to wait and see.

    We've had some heavy rain here in Cardiff today, but nothing on what my mother had back home in North West Wales.It's been severely bad there. My home village looked more like a waterfall than anything, sad scenes.

    Exciting stuff, know my luck, the front will turn into a drizzly muck here in Cardiff then revitalize as it heads further East. Been on the phone with my mother in North West Wales (around a mile from Snowdon/ around 13 miles from Capel Curig) and the weather is awful there, torrential rain, floods and severe winds.
