I remember the ladybirds as a kid when we went to Cleethorpes in 1976. You were literally walking on a carpet of them on the promenade. Millions upon millions of them.
1976 was the best by a mile for me. I was 8 yrs old. It just went on for ever and ever. Playing out every day of the holidays. If this current summer lasts well into August with no rain it could compare.
It came through here as snow start to finish and i'm only half a mile from the river Avon so i'm not high up. Reckon you could get a result down there whoever catches it.
Tidy streamer producing to the west of Brum. Interested to see if that batch moving south intensifies over the Irish sea where the streamer is originating from before it moves towards us.
The band has pepped up as its arrived here. snowing quite heavily which is happy days as i didn't think it would reach this far.
Northampton might just catch this downstream.
