  1. 16.8c out of the wind feels warm… but that wind is persistent and gusty… must be 30-40 mph at times… drying pot plants out quite quickly… couple of hours rummaging in the undergrowth weeding and cutting small hedges.. bbq scrubbed & cleaned recently springs/summers when we’ve had warmth/heat it’s been accompanied by a strong wind… seem to go hand in hand the last couple of years…

Got to 14.7c earlier in sunshine mostly grey day currently 12c… don’t think fading precipitation on radar is making it to the ground… bad crash on m67 eastbound near roundabout… lots of emergency services and air ambulance was in attendance… off to Harvey Leonard’s this evening for tequila & tacos event… should be tasty couple of hours
  3. Was 3c when I got up at 530… stopped drizzling and now 7.9c feels chilly out… brightening up… hopefully the sun will make an appearance this afternoon
  4. Dark Horse sorry to hear your news… condolences to you at this sad time. As you say at least she is no longer suffering… I’ve always found solace in memories of good times in times of grief and afterwards… having lost my dad when I was 10 and now all my grandparents having passed… Been waiting for some warmer weather to walk the high line at Castlefield… maybe next week will suffice weatherwise

Had Worse well they’re definitely not nesting in our loft this year Some really pretty rhododendron flowers out at the moment in garden… cut a few to put about the house… before pretty much constant showers of hail/rain/graupel… temp dropped from 8/9c to 5/6c… again felt warm in sun this morning & afternoon before showers came..,

Sunny morning clouded up a little but when sun is out you can feel the strength this time of year… couple of hours gardening… walked into town first thing… getting over 24-48 hour lurgy I most likely caught in Londonford on Sunday/monday… do it all again in two weeks time…going to Fulham game ️️️️
  7. 2.9c raining ️ so much for dry until Sunday oh well… how are we still in this rut? picked up a bug in Londonford mixed with hay Fever lovely jubbly At least managed a good walk yesterday, lots of gardening and odd jobs sorted.. including stopping crows nesting in loft through broken vent cover… by crawling in loft space and blocking vent to 5cm

Rush2019 I didn’t but my nieces work colleague and friend did… she cheered her on from three spots… we met up with my niece afterwards and said she’d completed it in a good time… saw lots of peeps that had run it afterwards.. Stayed in Marylebone and had good walk around Little Venice and Camden Sunday…had lovely brunch around corner from where we stayed called cafe leville on the Regents canal Ukv can do one

Cloudy and glimpses of sun this morning… cloudier in poynton and Cheadle Hulme this lunchtime but sunny since 3pm when we got back home… even being away Friday to yesterday can noticeably see the amount of growth in plant pots and vegetation over last four days… chilly mornings and felt warmer in the sunshine today despite the breeze… is it actually going to stay dry until Sunday???
  10. In Londonford… warm in sun cold in cloudy overcast balls… well done City… so glad to catch up with family yesterday such a laugh just wish the weather would improve soon… such tedious bull rain rain rain ️️️ day in day out… depressing

  12. Can feel the warmth of the sun even with chill breeze… 2cc at 7am when I got up… now 8.9c.. had long tailed tits at the windows getting bugs for five minutes… bird life in spring mood… busy in the garden… saw the local heron flying between Howard and Manor Park too…
  13. matty40s March last year we stopped off in Slidell on way to bay Saint Louis and had lunch there in a diner on that road…
  14. Had Worse torrential rain and hail… back door mat floating ️️️️️ close Lightning ️ and loud thunder earlier… shotgun thunder when I got up this morning too… so much hail today and cold in gusty winds…

Got to 17.8c here yesterday… sun made an appearance briefly… managed five hours gardening and dried washing outside… luckily got it in before drizzle fest yesterday evening… quickly popping to shops then slow roasting leg of lamb (from farm up the road) that’s been marinated in tandoori rub… family driving up from Luton for weekend and football tomorrow ️️️️
  16. 6c rain not here yet… but knocking on the door… squirrels going crazy chasing each other in garden and jumping between pine trees… plus back door mat growing grass…

  18. 15.6c max today… some blustery showers but some sun felt warm in sunshine been for good long walk… steak for tea bought our decorator/bathroom fitter a tomahawk to say thank you for hard graft over last seven weeks… dining room ceiling repainted now woohoo this weekends job… putting the dining room back together… live in hope for drier warmer sunnier spell sometime soon Happy Friday everyone

Rather warm humid feeling day after overnight rain/showers… car registered 17c in Ashton-Under-Lyne in the sun at lunchtime… think it was more likely 14-15c max today… just making fish n chips for my tea… hubby making seafood and spinach curry with jalfrezi sauce we made last week… rain just started and hills shrouded in cloud now… had long tailed tits two days in a row getting bugs out of window frames outside…

Had Worse yep wet wet wet… digging yesterday in garden such wet soil… hopefully some gardening today if it stays dry… after usual garage bar stool haircuts and now have our main bathroom finished and useable woohoo and it’s water tight Good result last night… great match (esp foden, Rodri, grealish and gvardiol ️️️️) and buzzing atmosphere… go again Saturday ️️️️ *Stormforce~beka* hope you are feeling better and have good journey home
  21. *Stormforce~beka* hope you are feeling better today managed a walk to town this morning without getting too wet but did hammer it down whilst at garden centre… back home on and off downpours or heavy drizzle… managed to plant a couple of plants in raised bed but the soil was sooo sodden… even the grass has a nice new mossy coating hoping the wind at weekend isn’t too bad, as the past couple of years our acers have been torn to shreds

  23. 10c can actually feel the warmth in the sun bit of a hangover but great night in Manchesterford… off to football at 230pm ️️️️ Garden looking good great owl pics our local owls (4/5 of them) are quite vocal in the evenings atm
