  1. Quite a strong SSE'ly here now. A sort of not-quite-an-onshore-breeze. Cloud is proving to be rather stubborn.
  2. I'm prepared to do a bit of driving today, will wait and see how things are going in a few hours. Cloud is desperately trying to clear away here, when the sun comes out it's positively soupy! I'm definitely not prepping anything though, it always puts the kybosh on it!
  3. plenty of live cams on the beach at Dunkirque! Viewsurf.com - Le portail de Webcams HD de référence WWW.VIEWSURF.COM Viewsurf, leader européen de la webcam HD touristique live et différée, plage - France - Nord-Pas-de-Calais - Bray-Dunes - Live
  4. Convective Weather CONVECTIVEWEATHER.CO.UK Forecasting thunderstorms and severe convective weather across the British Isles and Ireland for up to the next 5 days. Latest from Dan. More of a chance for Lincs and Yorks, possibly around the Wash area as well. Don't get all excited if you're in Norfolk!
  5. Latest from Dan. Convective Weather CONVECTIVEWEATHER.CO.UK Forecasting thunderstorms and severe convective weather across the British Isles and Ireland for up to the next 5 days.
  6. Ooh, I'd like to be in Holland today. Shades of late August 2015 when I was lucky enough to be in the middle of their MD forecast!
  7. Someone on my Veg growing group in Hampshire has been frantically trying to rescue anything in pots, apparently the garden is like a swimming pool.
  8. Rain or no rain, what a fabulous evening. There's nothing quite like pottering around the garden in your jimjams!
  9. I managed an unexpected 13mm overnight, the garden is properly grateful! Had to laugh at the latest storm forecast, I swear Norfolk in particular is left out deliberately
  10. Lucky so and so, I haven't seen anything like that since about 2015 (and that was in Holland....)
  11. What I believe is called a "non-event", something we in the east have a monopoly on these days. There is some sort of fine mist in the air but it's not reaching the ground (not that it would do much even if it did).
  12. Light drizzle? Personally I think you're being spoilt
  13. Even the stuff in the channel is losing the will to live....
  14. Well, the radar shows that the best I can hope for is a brief spell of light drizzle. Whoop-de-do.
  15. I think the pudding was somewhat over egged for the east of the country. However, we may yet have some light rain later on. Not sure in which month though.....
  16. Just grey skies here, occasionally a strong SE gust but quite frankly I doubt if the east will see much in the way of rain. As for a storm? HA!
  17. It's a bit random, isn't it? God knows why I'm bothering to check it, there seems to be beggar all chance of rain here, never mind a storm. Just finished the marathon pot watering.
  18. Kuala Lumpur - humidity 1billion%, daily storm at 4pm, humidity reduced by two percentage points for about an hour.....
  19. I really think the best I can hope for is some distant cloud tops looming out of the murk, unless something else is supposed to happen later. A small cell has popped up between Swaffham and Downham Market, but I'm not wasting diesel on what's basically an April shower....
  20. The storms (if you can call them that) don't have a lot of oomph by the look of them, and are heading N or slightly NNW. I genuinely cannot see the proper eastern region getting anything significant from today, unless there's some sort of invisible mechanism coming into play later.
  21. Completely milky skies in Norfolk, if we're going to have yet another dry day, at least give us blue skies and sunshine!
  22. Looking at Nick's and Dan's forecast, seems like a drive west is the best bet, otherwise I'll be gardening and fully aware of storms 40 miles away, cursing. Mid Norfolk eastward is dead for storms these days.
