    Good lord it's hot today. It feels hotter than yesterday. I finished my book sunbathing yesterday, so will have to find something else to read later during more sunbathing.

    So weird to think that with this weather now it won't be long until we see the first frost.

    I'd go with Gravesend or Faversham, they always seem to be hotspots.

    And another glorious day. This afternoon will consist of sunbathing with a cool drink and a book and then a nice Greek Salad and Antipasto for dinner outside. I didn't get a holiday this year so this is the closest I'm going to get. Now if only this wonderful weather could go out with a tremndous all nighter thunderstorm, that really would be perfection.

    So what UV would you burn in. I'm in NW Kent. On a separate note, did you all know this hot weather we're having is the result of weather machines controlled by media corporations?

    It's been lovely. I've been sunbathing in my garden every afternoon with a cool drink and reading a book. If i close my eyes it's almost like I'm on holiday.

    People complain we've had a onions summer and then we get some sun and people complain it's too hot. Not on here but in general. What do they expect? A thermostat so they can adjust the heat for every person?

    Good thing I have inherited Mediterranean skin off my relatives then! I tan very easily. Either way it's nice to feel the sun on your skin.

    Thanks Harry and yes, I was referring to the Invent predicted rainfall. I found it useful too! Are they likely to bring it back?

    Two random questions...... What happened to the rainfall radar on MetO? You know the colour the sky goes when it's going to snow (that sort of odd grey-yellow colour). Why does it do that?

    But then I'd feel bad. You haven't had a storm and I have had one (all be it not very good).

    On another forum people have been asking where the hurricane was and that it was all a bit of a fuss about nothing. Yes, I was telling you this but seemed reluctant to want to hear it.
