      Loads of really strong sunshine here in warwickshire, it felt really hot in the sun, had to laugh to myself after reading all the doom posts saying the weather was not summer like, its been summer like since early June, been a great summer so far my summer forecast had to be binned it was so wrong

      Yes i agree, its nowhere near as bad as some say and believe me if it was actually bad i would say so :)

      Indeed! But then 21-24C is typically average for the SE in July...the 18-20C spell coming up is distinctly below average, so it depends really how you look at it

      Well looking at it in terms of heat likeliness, we are only likely to get proper heat in the back end of April, May, June, July, August and the start of Sept. So to be honest we are pretty much half way through the time of potential heat. Even if we disagree on exact summer dates then we agree on the above!

      Not really, proper heat only often starts occuring in late May, lets not forget how unusall this April was and it is rare for 20+ heat in April
