Low pressure will begin to make its way through Mississipi and up to the North East. With it we will have heavy rain. The main concern is Tennessee to Pennsylvania, we could see 1-4" of rain. Maybe even 5". Up into Maine, we could see 3" of snow will cold temperatures.
With all the snow pack still in New York and the majority of New England, we could be seeing some 7" of rain on the ground.

On Friday, low pressure will make its way through Colorado. By Saturday it will be in Iowa and on Sunday it will be in Pennsylvania. Traveling almost 2,000 miles.

I don't think it will make Category 4 as it is already past the 30N mark and waters are cooling.
