  1. First time tonight going to the shops with t-shirt on. When is the longest day again? Can’t be far away?
  2. Been Pea Soup here the last two days with addition of rain this morning. I'm at work though as apparently I don't work in a bank.
  3. I’ve heard of the game “The floor is lava” now we have “The road is river”.
  4. No snow/sleet here just mega wet. All roads flooded and rivers very high. On the plus side we get a new puppy tomorrow!
  5. Surprised there wasn't a warning for the rain here yesterday. It was like driving through a river last night on the way home.
  6. Huntforsnow It's amazing what you can capture on a phone these days. I managed to get a photo years ago, but involved standing in a cold field with a Cannon DSLR on a tripod. This was my five minutes of fame. I got the photo published in the Kilmarnock standard!
  7. Huntforsnow Out of interest what did you take those with? Camera or phone? Great Photo's.
  8. A bit colder this morning. Car said 3.5 Deg. Not bothered putting up the new weather station as it's been so boring for so long. My car alarm went off this morning. Checked it out and can only assume it was the heavy rain/hail that set it off.
  9. Quinach I think the white for us here is correct. No drought. On one of the roads to work there’s been what I can only describe as a ford between the two fields bordering the road. On the plus side I got a free jet wash yesterday when a van passed at the same time as me. Couldn’t see a thing though for a few seconds.
  10. Pea soup again here tonight. Can barely see a cars length in front. Was using sat nav to see how close I was to the junctions. (All single track roads).
  11. Scuba steve The cars coming down are covered in snow. I just took my wife up to the gym at my daughters work and can confirm, above 200m is white with the snow blowing about in the wind.
  12. It is snowing and trying to lie here. I would say it’s whit above about 200m.
