Just started lightly snowing here in Redditch

SollyOlly Is the chances of any snow for the Solihull area now passed ? Was shocked to see a yellow warning on the BBC website when i got up. Looking at travelling from Redditch to Shirley this morning , but get a bit anxious when snow is about

Thanks H... in one way i want it to be nice with blue skies, but id probably get anxious worrying about catching the sun. Its a bit of a trial run for me, so i probably need to minimise any stresses. But hey , its weather.... it could be 83 degrees, or snowing !

Im looking at going abroad for the first time in 20 years, due to Anxiety travel issues I have struggled with. So Im trying to go when its warm, but not hot ! I know every year can be different (well in England anyway), but it will just help my Anxiety . Our plan is to go in early June. Ive tried searching for the temperatures in Nice for the last few years in June, but I seem to get conflicting results , despite it being past / factual temperatures. I thought this was the best layout, and was happy with the look of the temperatures then, but now realise other websites seem to indicate it was hotter than what they say. Is that it for now in Worcestershire ? Supposed to be going out today and tonight, but dont want to get caught out. I guess freezing roads tonite may be a problem ? Though roads have been gritted.

Light snow here for last cple of hours, and just starting to settle on pavements.

I get that you guys love the snow and weather things, but this year lets hope that we get as much mild weather for a few months at least to help get the vaccines out to people.

BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester just said thats our lot for snow, until late afternoon. Really ?.....

Typical its the day my wife has to go into work. Mind you if she gets stuck there I used to use Accuweather, but its currently showing no show all day in Redditch if you look at the hourly prediction ?! I do rely on you guys in extreme weather, but what do you think is the best weather website ?

Got out of bed about 7.40 and nothing , 20 mins later the side roads were covered. Only snowing lightly tho. Dont know if they have gritted the main roads , or does it not affect snow, just ice ?

Guys I need a quick bit of help. Im thinking of going back to Fairford today from Worcs, but Im seeing predictions of heavy showers around again. I will basically cry if pay for another ticket and stuff gets cancelled.

Had a peek at the met office forecast for tommorow at Fairford and its getting worse. Heavy rain between 8 and 11

Yes it even more frustrating looking at all the days before and after...not a drop of rain forecast. Lets hope for some better predictions over the next 24 hours

Good morning all. Hopefully the right discussion thread for. Fairford , Glos . On Friday im off to the airshow. Unfortunately my Anxiety has been driving me mad about how bad the weather will be on Friday.,and its been getting me very down. As its just 48 hrs away, would anybody be kind enough to predict the weather for tbere, or which website you would recordrecomend if any. Thanks in aadvance

Thank you Midlands Ice Age. I hope your right. General forecast says drier in the South and East next week...so hopefully Fairford comes under that. I will not look until later next week (yeh, right ..! ) Unlike the cricket, if it rains all day, and the flying is cancelled, you dont get your money back as you can still walk round the static planes and exhbitions , apparently
