Hello, my names Tom, I am in my mid thirties and live in southwest Wales. I live in a static caravan, on a farm, I dont farm myself but I have been known to round up the odd stray animal. I am a self employed carpenter/builder. I never intended this to be a career, I just fell into it, that was 10 yrs ago now. I hold a Masters degree in Physics and Astronomy but that was a previous life. I am much happier out in the elements. Where i live gets battered by the wind. I am relatively sheltered from the west, but from south to southeast i get thrashed. Most of the time here it is cloudy and damp with nagging 20 mph southwesterlies. its like getting slapped across the face all day, they can be is so annoying when trying to work. I much prefer it when the weather does something properly, its the non descript rubbish in the middle that annoys me. I love nothing more than going to watch the sea in a storm, or just sitting at home listening to the wind, its awesome. I think it is fantastic that we humans are repeatedly put in our place by the weather, its good to remember who is at the top of the food chain.
