  1. Yeah been keeping an eye on the radar. Those showers just developed out of nowhere. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
  2. It's a tough call but I am hopeful for Thursday. Been out and about all morning at work and we have had a few showers of Graupel even with nothing showing on the radar. It's proper bitter cold to.
  3. So if this all goes the way the GFS is showing we could end up with quite a bit of snow on the ground which could stick around for for a while. GFS has been very consistent with Thursdays front.
  4. 102 hours out now and GFS still showing a good snow event. How many runs is that now that has showed this. I'll start getting excited if this is still showing by tomorrow's 12z runs.
  5. I have every bit of faith that Thursday and Friday will be snowy
  6. It's only one run but. Will be plenty of changes between now and Thursday. There will be quite a few on here getting in on the action on this run.
  7. Hopefully a few of you see some lying snow. Might see a few heavier bursts soon going by the radar.
  8. Thursday/Friday still looks great. I really hope this comes off. Hours of heavy snow. We are all long overdue a good dumping of snow. GFS showing 12 hours of snow from Thursday evening.
  9. Defintely exciting times. Big snowfall later in the week then high pressure taking hold. Day time temps struggling means snow on the ground for quite a while. Reminds me of how 2010 went with snowfall at the start of December then minus temps for 4 weeks after. Not saying that's how it will pan out but very possible.
  10. GFS 18Z looks even better for us snow wise later in the week. That front all further West to?
  11. That will do me nicely. Might find a back door in to the Ponderosa for a nice cold pint
  12. That last chart looks perfect for a trek up the Glenshane. I wouod say it will be a Monday or Tuesday before we know how it will pan out.
  13. Any tasty looking snow charts to show us? Not sure how to access the ECM charts. I am quietly confident for the end of next week's. Its just too far away yet to get excited.
  14. Ha I love the positivity. I've been quietly lurking in the background keeping an eye on things but posts like these make me happy As you say there is still a lot to be sorted regarding later next week and frontal snow.
  15. The main part of your post is THE END OF NEXT WEEK. It's 7 days away. We don't even know what's coming Sunday never mind next Thursday. All to play for
  16. Really close to a good event for all. There is a good covering on the hills around Derry especially towards Donegal. Snowline probably around 100/120m.
  17. Snowing away but no chance of it lying unless it gets alot heavier. Coleraine Mountain getting it good!
  18. That would be great to see. Not a fan of Easterly setups but if we can get a battleground setting up or streamers coming in then we can do quite well. Still a long way off so we shall see what happens
  19. Great to see that we are in with a chance of another good snowfall on Monday. Could be quite a lot. Its bitter cold out today.
  20. Well that's what they were saying about last weekend to and look how that turned out.
  21. Have really enjoyed this current cold Spell with virtually no thaw for a few days. Perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors. Freezing rain could definitely be an issue Boofer.
