For my location on the Isle of Wight you get the best sunsets in November early December, so for me it doesn’t matter what time it sets. It really is the most wonderful time of year here. For some of us we don’t like the long days of light so yearn the dark mornings and early evening. I do get genuinely depressed about the long hot days. Plus having two young kids the earlier it gets dark the better!

Still light and it’s just gone past 9.30 we will soon be approaching the longest day and the much needed relief of the nights drawing in.

The Netweather App is not that great on Apple IMO and the home and dry app gives you forecast as well. Perhaps I should get an Android phone!!! I am due an upgrade!!

Yes I think we will get some snow, it will be hitting at just the right time, maybe a bit more marginal for you in Shanklin though.

Home and dry on Apple - they have a rainfall and snow app - you have to pay £1.99 I think? They are really good apps and worth the money.

I had a low 0f -7.1 the coldest night I have had in 10 years on the Isle of Wight, temperature now is -3.9. Good luck everyone today lets hope we all see some snow!!
