Hi guys and girls, look sorry if you can help, it's just I have a child with down syndrome and as some of you know I need to be on top of storms as it really affects him.

just a question if anyone can help...am I looking at storms 6 miles west of High Wycombe???

the temp has dramatically dropped over the last hour and the wind is picking up but would appreciate any heads up.

Well temperature dropped in High Wycombe by 5c.

The clouds are clearing but fresher air is coming in now and feeling so much less humid.

Looking at the radar, sadly for some it appears to be all over.

No storms firing up over France right now and nothing really firing up over UK.

Would love to help, but can't. This is an evolving event. As others have said, keep an eye on the sferics and other precip. maps. I hope everything is OK for you - adverse weather is great to watch, but some suffer under it and I am (and I think many folks on here are) sensitive to that.

Look I don't normally post as I'm an amateur who is really trying to learn, however I do read most posts each day and try my best.

But please can anyone help?

I have a Down Syndrome son who gets very nervous and anxious with any extreme weather, ( hence why im trying to learn myself), Anyway really need someone's help. My wife and I are trying to determine whether our area,

(just west of High Wycombe in Bucks) will have any storms over night or tomorrow?

Its just we can try to prepare him with in advance with our support. Thank you so much anyone who can help us.

There is certainly a fairly high risk of you seeing something tonight - can't be more definite as storms are unpredictable beasts I'm afraid

Thanks for that welcome, anyway things looking like they are heating up now, still 19c here and feeling kinda weird?? If you know what I mean?? Even the wife is acting 'normal'...(usually a sign that some extreme weather is en-route!!) anyway keeping an eye on the radar
