  1. Snow lying over night here 2 miles south of Broughton. Heavy snow before lunch, then sleet, then back to snow - good covering. 1pm snowline at 200m.
  2. Beautiful CMD. Cleared here too. This morning was shocking - driving through that rain and all the surface water pulling the steering... Ugh.
  3. Lovely sunny morning, strong sunshine but clouds building...
  4. Sporadic drizzle here too on the drive in. Just not enough to leave the windscreen wipers on auto.
  5. Working fine now boys - thank you muchly
  6. Good evening! Here you go: Thinking about it I have previously increased the size of text in the phone settings, because I am getting old. Perhaps that's why?
  7. There's no time stamp on mine at all now
  8. Meantime, here's a much more interesting screenshot:
  9. You of course meant to say sophisticated rather than posh. I forgive you.
  10. On my pixel the time stamp at the top right is half cut-off horizontally.
  11. Maybe Ed. Looks like we're 1-2˚C above average around the coast. But having said that both of these hot spells have been hotter than anything last year, so does that mitigate against the sea anomaly...?
  12. Second decent warm/hot spell of the year and absolutely no sign of haar here in Leith on either occasion. Anybody up the east coast experienced it this last month or so?
  13. A great photo at a fantastic spot (-:
  14. For SE Scotland, 12z GFS predicting five straight days of sunshine 16-18ºC. ....I wonder....
  15. *Looks at storms on radar and thinks 'come to daddy'*
  16. True enough! But the question is how wet - and with SE England being so dry....Really feels like the calm before the storm this year.
  17. When the current cycle breaks and with the return of SW'ly dominated weather as we enter the European Monsoon season in early June, I'm predicting some very wet weather...
  18. Discussion, commentary etc is in this thread Snipper!
  19. Hi Tommy - I moved this into here so as to attract the attention of our many weather equipment enthusiasts. Cheers
  20. Not sure if this is being overly simplistic, but it looks to me that there is a classic difference between the Europeans and Amerians tonight: ECM shows the Azores High stretching north east to join with the block to our NE GFS shows the block to our NE stretching down to the south west to join the Azores High.
