Got up to 21.2C here yesterday. That's our fourth day of 20C+ (can you guess what arbitrary observations I'll be counting and boring folk with this summer?! ).
First grass cut in the evening on notch three. Rain this morning.

Last 30 hours of ppn is the first to "soak in" for nearly two months. The difference in the greenness of the garden in such a small amount of time is astonishing. You can hear the bloody weeds and grass growing. Up to 14.3°C. Managed to stay dry on dog walk - saw the local sika deer for fifth consecutive day.

Forty-third air frost at -2.8C and the coldest night here for six weeks. Brought the plants inside in anticipation - phew!! Brilliant sunshine earlier but now cloudy and 11C. Maybe the lightest of showers this afternoon but not expecting much.
Looking at the forecasts I wonder if we will squeeze one more air frost tonight, but that may be it for the season... Or maybe not.

Forty second air frost at -0.5C at dawn. Clear bright morning, but a wee bit of cloud about now still only 5C. My wee geraniums and fuchsias must be shivering!

Temperature got down to 3.8°C at 10.30am. The NE wind has blown much of the mayflower off the trees, so doing a good impression of a dusting.

Fortieth air frost at -1.1C. Same number of snow days two years ago....
Absolutely crystal clear now and set up to be a stunner - high teens maybe fourth day of 20C+.

That blob first developed over my house from about 11am. Led to a couple of hours of variously heavy/slight rain before moving ESE.
Went three miles north for the daily dog walk/exercise as sheep have appeared on our regular route - and caught this shot which has to be some of the freshest spring grass amongst the ash:

8.3C max in a cold persistent wind. Hat back out from the drawer. Raining properly now. You'll have had your summer.

Not the best photo from the cottage, but you get the jist. You're right about being cautious with the dogs @CatchMyDrift. 21.3°C.

Didn't see a single one here HC. Was out for 20-30 minutes last three nights, was even crystal clear. Still, I can now identify the northern cross and the summer triangle!
Down to 3.9C last night and already at 15C this morning. As others have said, chilly wind is away and the sun is oot!

-0.2°C overnight making it my thirty eighth air frost. Crystal clear morning. Lyrid meteor shower picking up over next two nights so these skies should help enormously and with only a sliver of a crescent moon, this year might be a good one.

Thirty seventh air frost at -1.9C. Beautiful sunny morning now although due to cloud over.

Got down to 2.4°C in early hours. Currently 7.7°C. Cloudy but less breezy than dusk yesterday.

Well what a wind. 50+mph at Drumalbin but the funneling down the upper Tweed Valley meant I nearly, uncomfortably nearly, got blown into the water.... And this wee film wasn't even one of the sporadic gusty spells:
