  1. After a breezy and very wet night gusts have really started to pick up in the last half hour here in Wembley.
  2. Heavy/torrential rain with a localised flooding risk coupled with strong winds although not as strong as further south.
  3. Yeah its looking fairly borderline for many lower levels at the moment but things may well change before the weekend.
  4. Yep no surprise. Heres hoping we are reading to much into the models and we wake up with at least a covering tomorrow!
  5. Yeah the rain here in Macclesfield is definately getting more sleety I work in Macclesfield but live in Sandbach no doubt I will get stuck on my up here tomorrow!
  6. Hmmm I guess we just have to wait and see. How good do you rate our chances "Hot Cuppa"?
  7. A light-moderate very cold sleety rain falling currently here at work in Macclesfield GFS and NAE are going for a period of snowfall tonight 2-5cm possible but still I think the Met Office are very unsure. Does Cheshire stand a chance of some snow tonight??
  8. Yeah we shall see!! What do you think our chances are here in South East Cheshire??
  9. 5-10cms over parts of Cheshire, Gtr Manchester and the Peak District hmmm I am not too sure but wouldn't it be a nice surprise!!
  10. Met Office chart now indicating the risk of up to 2-5cms of snowfall locally up to 5-10cms over parts of the Peak District tomorrow and into Friday with aFreezing rain risk almost region wide. This event is going to be one too watch!! http://postimage.org/image/x6asggx3l/
  11. Fred Talbot at Granada fearing a risk of snow tomorrow. http://twitter.com/granadareports Met Office also going for a risk of freezing rain- sleet/snowy mix over southern inland areas of the region tomorrow into Friday.
  12. I got 6-8cms of snow late Saturday after an afternoon of icy rain so I guess all hope is not lost! Didnt you get any lying snow?
