  1. For west midlands to be under a Amber warning is also very rare never really that bad this far inland.
  2. Yep and me 80mph in some areas are possible even inland as far as myself could be noteworthy
  3. Yes could be a nasty little feature. I dont think ive seen many amber warnings for wind in these parts could certainly cause a few problems

  6. I think this storm is slipping under the radar somewhat Gfs has winds hitting 50mph quite widely however other models Arpege for instance has then quiet a bit higher
  7. The Gfs Develops the low and brings some quite windy weather to central parts and then towards the East some places could be hit with 90+kph winds then as it drifts east possibly 100+ Edit Met going for 70 to 80mph across the spine of the country
  8. This little feature could also have quite alittle bite to it. Gusts up to 60mph

  13. Yep however cherry picked chart i know but the Aperge has us under a streamer for approx 12 hours here is a snap shot and also shows how marginal these snow showers are

  15. Gfs shows sleety snow mix on this run as ever altitude will be the key a few charts to illustrate
  16. Yes seems the further inland the more chance of seeing some snow. Haven't checked the dew points so not sure what it will be like on the coasts
  17. Showers heading inland over England a little more sleety the further south you go according to the euro 4 to be honest all abit meh
  18. Yep i agree Ali Northern and eastern England the best chance drifting into middle England however showers will develop widely i expect a few surprises. Surely it cant be rain?
  19. Latest Euro 4 show showers developing widely across the UK . Also usual caution advised however a rash of precipitation developing in the North Sea a few could get quite lucky
  20. It might only be a cold blip but some might see a bit of Snow even for our friends in the south east
  21. Cant post charts but it seems the Gfs 6z is on the milder side of the ensembles above the mean. plus cant erase these charts either GRR
