Yes could be a nasty little feature. I dont think ive seen many amber warnings for wind in these parts could certainly cause a few problems -

I think this storm is slipping under the radar somewhat Gfs has winds hitting 50mph quite widely however other models Arpege for instance has then quiet a bit higher -

The Gfs Develops the low and brings some quite windy weather to central parts and then towards the East some places could be hit with 90+kph winds then as it drifts east possibly 100+ Edit Met going for 70 to 80mph across the spine of the country -

Well the 6z shows quite alot of wintry precipitation around the UK and quite cold uppers maybe March could deliver the goods. actually its a stonker of a run in Fi -
Some charts from the euro 4 shows plenty of showers also the aperge and arome keeps us under the showers may not be a lot but should see some falling

Yes seems the further inland the more chance of seeing some snow. Haven't checked the dew points so not sure what it will be like on the coasts -
