    London EPS mean temp for midday starts at 6.3c on 20th and plummets to 5.2c by the 27th. At least Feb couldnt possibly be any worse than this month - I hope

    For us who live in the south winter hasn't even started and nothing but chilly dank weather on the horizon so yep January is a bust. Still Feb i suppose and even March of course

    Oh well it was fun while it lasted - at least (a) I didn’t tell friends and family we were heading for another 1947 and (b) the winter tyres are still on hold

    Just checked the EPS mean temps for London on the 'when the supposed action starts' date of the 20th and for the subsequent 6 days it ranges between 4 and 4.6. Snow ? Negligible. Oh well always Feb

    Still more likely to be milder in South and West. A chance of colder but thats just a catch all back covering statement

    Mild in the South and West till the 22nd at least then - well thats a pretty dire forecast for us southerners

    Latest EPS for London just shows the weather flat lining for the next couple of weeks - this winter starting to look like a bust for the south at least.

    Well the MOD thread is a depressing place now - it’s like the end of one of the most anticipated parties you’ve been invited to but was actually crap and where all the interesting guys have long since left to go somewhere better and what’s left are a forlorn few desperately hoping the party will get going again - it ain’t !
