    Snow in Eltham that’s heavy! I’m in Lee right on the very edge of the snow line and can just about detect some dandruff falling. Things can only get better ( who sand that )?

    I was just about to drive to Deal from Lee, Se12,but the video of the A2 just convinced me it’s not a good idea even in a 4 x 4. Many thanks for posting it.

    Nothing here yet. I’ve notuced any cars passing by are being driven very gingerly.

    TomSE12, The modern MRI scanning machines are much better than the older ones. I had one recently and, like you, was not looking forward to being cooped, again, for 30mins or so but was pleasantly surprised as I had plenty of room and none of that claustrophobic feeling. The MRI operators continually chat and check on you and can see you through the glass partition all the time. So don’t worry - you’ll probably fall asleep dreaming of snow........ good luck, Terry

    “well, i've just caught up with the output. i looked apprehensively at the GFS and the ECMthrough my fingers... i have to say i'm very disappointed that i didnt buy those snow tyres for my land rover!!!!!” I’ve just bought some and glad I did!

    Just for fun I just ran the gfs snow risk for the South East and as from next Sunday it shows a week of snow. If that were true the South East will be crippled transport wise which could also mean supplies to shops and supermarkets being compromised. Could this be true?

    What was the large blob in Norfolk earlier and heading SSW is decaying rapidly by the look of it. I don't think it will reach reach the London area.

    Sad day for me. I’m about to go to Margate Hospital to say my long goodbye to my best friend of many years who is about to die from pancreatic cancer. I was hoping for a little snowfall as no doubt I will take a few quiet moments to reflect upon things and it would have matched the moment. I hope all of you get some snow today and have your own moment of reflection.

    Radar shows snow in Suffolk at the moment edging its way towards London. Can anyone confirm this or is it another radar ghost reading?

    Only had two gusts of wind but nothing special here and it’s been reasonably calm all evening but with some rain/drizzle. All died down now and very calm. How weird!
