Hello Scottish Weather community
What a weird and eventful year of weather ... rain and then early summer and then rain and then frosts ( a smattering of snaw ) and then back to rain ...
is about all my middle aged mind can ken
As ever i just want to see some falling snow ... hopefully 2024 will give me some of that.

Howdy !
Very gusty here on the firth of the Clyde !!
I think its cause its been soooooooooo long since we had any gales ,, but it aint half roaring !!

Morning , echoing most peoples comments ,, its been a rather dull and boring winter so far
Lots of grey mild days here in Gourock , only a couple of air frosts and a a few flakes in December to give any excitement
Here is photo from yesterday a surreal blue and grey sky just after sunrise
I am off to sacrifice some irn bru over the Granny Kempock Stone and see if it wakes up the Weather gods

Snaw fingers crossed for those further east ,, here in Gourock its cold , with a bitter wind doon by the water ,, bloody awful

If a days weather could sum up 2020 .. today Is definition .. started cold and frosty at -2 A band of precipitation heading my way ,, looking like snow .. the dew point looking great !! Then 30 mins later it’s 1 degree and it’s raining
Ah well, here is to a better 2021 , and to lots of snaw and an amazing sunshine in the spring

Just in from walk with the dug ... the easterly wind biting cauld ... nae snaw just the odd bit of rain and sleetflake preferred the frost and hazy sun this morning
