    Ref 1987, That was then, I witnessed it. However what we have now will not have to meet the grade of the 87 storm, We have had a lot of rain over the weeks on and off, So ground is saturated all ready and burst banks,trees falling over will be a lot easier, Also we have had a few recent Storm events already, So anything made unstable then ie debris wise etc,Will not need much effort to finish the job, Remember we got Friday to get through yet as well.

    Blimey Governor, Just got back Getting worse by the minute out there,However can confirm as some post's have stated, Real WIND peak between midnight and 3 am, As stated on nearly every sodding radio station going. The surface water is immense. Bugger work tomorrow, I,m staying in.

    Evening all, Really busy out and about, Roads are quite bad, Noticed of xc Weather to deteriorate a lot more later tonight, Wind speed a real concern, Flooding issues must be really high now. Got to take my wife to work at 6.30 for 3 hrs, On call care worker for the elderly, Told her i will drive as she is petrified but has to do calls. Got to admit i much prefer the cold and snow at least you know what your dealing with.Stay safe people. http://www.xcweather.co.uk/

    With all this pretty hard stormy weather incoming, We could get a few surprises over the holiday period, Yes SNOW. Just because the data does not show it, don't mean it can't, Fast and volatile Weather coming through over the next 7 days, Temps could be colder than displayed as well. Keep yours eyes peeled folks, But most of all stay safe, We can replace pretty much anything in life,Except you.

    Bout time as well JP, Welcome Back. Upgrade 925 mb Low, This Morning it was 930mb, omg. I know it can be be ov done by output, But Even 935mb is bad. Can i have a lifeboat and crew for xmas.....Yuk.

    Immense, Not good at all. 930mb. Very tight isobars, Extreme gust,s easy 75 mph plus. Could be big power out problems. 528 dam closing. Black hole incoming. Stay safe folks.
