    first glimpses of the cloud now...its creeping slowly. but cloud is no fun without the white stuff!

    ambitious, but i like the sound ofit i see the new chat feature on here is also getting a lot of usage lol. currently chatting away to myself in there lol also having just looked at the visable sat again i see the cloud is flirting briefly with the isle of wight....any of you folk got anything blowing along in the breeze yet?

    seems that nothing is free anymore, even with the adverts they have, they still want my money lol. hmmm i think 3 sounds like a fair bet, but pert of me thinks a little later. around 4 maybe? anyone else care to hazard a guess?

    raintoday? forgive my ignorance, but what is it? do you have a link?problem is im too skint to get nw extra atm, so im lagging 45 mins or so behind by having to use the meto radar

    ah the good old bbc graphics. normally look like soneone has been paintballing in the studio, using the weather wall for practice. bring back the good old graphics. i trust what i see on here and some of the meto. normally i totally discount tv and radio as they are so horrendously vague

    my eye is watching the visable sat on meto-the nice lumpy(er) cloud over france is slowly building and moving in a generally promising direction. also watching the showers to the east and they do seem to be creeping ever so slowly westards. good spot there Coxxy

    Well seing as this thread has died, im just going to throw this out there....anyone getting any snow yet? Can you even see any cloud? Nowt here at the moment and still -4. Fingers crossed

    Well this IS good news,but yet to happen of course. Had a few flakes of snow dust blowing along in a deathly cold wind today about 10am, but otherwise nothing near Southampton. Anyone care to give an insight into the showers we are being threatened with tomorrow? I have hear rumblings on the radio and tv, but am not seeing much on METO or here atm

    Hmmmm well as far as the flurries tomorrow go, I thought you would find them with the hens teeth and rocking horse do do....not much talk of them I didnt think, for us down on the south coast anyway. However the METO is still suggesting Sat night, though Sunday and into Monday is still looking good

    My bad, only just joined and forgot. I see there is still a huge fence with a great many people sitting on top of it about the weekend. I will admit that im trying to make sense of everything being said, but im failing pretty miserably:pardon:. At this stage the optomist in me can only see it falling as snow, but maybe these other 'rain/sleet talk' people could be right. Budge up. Need room for one more on the fence....

    -3 here and dropping fairly quickly. Saw -7 last night and still have much snow lying. In fact it has barely melted all day. The sun has done a bit of work on it but nothing much. Hoping for a top up over the weekend, but seems a bit uncertain atm. Any thoughts from people at this early stage?
