Even with the wind from the East temps not as bad as they could be here on the coast with SST in the North Sea a good 3-4c higher than normal for this time of year.
I must admit the heaviest snowfall in Norfolk has always been from convective snow showers off the North Sea rather than frontal snow. With SST being higher than average for this time of year it could be goon for EA.
The front moved through here at about 1pm with some big showers embeded in the back edge.Heavy rain with strong wind and rotation starting at the cloud base.Didn't develop any further though.
