  1. Top tip.....get there before family groups get up there cos the kids knock all the icicles off!
  2. The icicles ones were, yep. It was a tad slippy down on the rocks. It will take another week of subzero temperatures before the waterfall even considers starting to freeze though. It did so in 2010, amazing to see.
  3. Oh and today's max of -3.8C makes it the lowest maximum temperature I've recorded since moving here in August 2010. It beats my previous record, set in December 2010......by 0.1C!!
  4. Some piccies from today in the kingdom No new snow until the last few hours, so it was a day of sunshine and icicles instead
  5. Been sat at the window up here, with a grandstand view of forked lightning over the Forth. It was incessant about half an hour ago
  6. I didn't look. I wouldn't be able to handle the inevitable disappointment ;-)
  7. Oh don't. Not unless you mean it!!! <hides behind hands and peers at radar>
  8. Ha ha! I'm in that clear blob too. The last 24hrs here haven't even merited the Amber warning up here.
  9. Dammit! It's doing it again!! Snow to the north of Fife, the south of Fife, the west of Fife and the east of Fife but bog-all in the middle. It was doing that this morning when I took this pic on Falkland Hill. Gawd it was cold!
  10. Nice Need a snow shower here right now otherwise I'm not going to break our lowest max temp record, which was set back in December 2010. Currently -3.8C....just 0.1C off the record.
  11. Nothing out of the ordinary snow-wise up here but -5.6C is exceptional
  12. -4.5C and snowing. I'm astonished! But I couldn't tell you how much is out there. Most of the snow around the house has been blasted off into the ether.
  13. Wow! -3.5C and bucketing down! We NEVER get that low even when the sky is clear and the air is calm. Remarkable! In other news.......the Night King is marching on Falkland.
  14. Gawd, if the 'main event' comes on gusty winds like this..... :-o It's horizontal up here! Oh, and now down to -2C. <must stop faffing and work>
  15. Finally caught a hefty shower. Impressive drop in temperature from 0.7C to -0.5C in the space of a couple of minutes.
  16. Ha ha! In my head I know this.......but......but.....well......I want two big black snow symbols in EVERY segment ;-)
  17. Same.....but the heavy stuff has now shifted from Wednesday to Thursday for here.
  18. It's funny, the Lomonds are positive cloud magnets for the rest of the year. The rest of Fife basks in sunshine while we sit in drizzle ;-)
