  1. I suppose these misty/foggy/low cloud mornings are an ongoing symptom of so much rain and therefore wet ground. Four such mornings in a row in my location. Rather than sunshine from early on it’s so dull lights are needed inside and the heating keeps clicking on too even though we set it at 18c!l No light, no warmth, perennial Autumn. It literally is like ‘mellow mists’ of October every morning! I’m sure it will clear later but Spring is not reaching its full potential in my opinion. There’s only a finite period of the year where it can be sunny from 06.00!
  2. *Stormforce~beka* Hope you’re ok! But don’t talk to me about ants! The blighters have found another route into our house after we blocked 2 tiny holes a year ago! Not seen one indoors for practically 12 months then got home on Saturday and they had somehow snuck into the kitchen! Today is a hattrick of misty/foggy starts on my side of Warminster.
  3. KTtom @SunSean this week will be warm hazy sunshine through Cirrus or Altocumulus at this time of year. The apps always show cloud though.
  4. Been to Bath today, the city was buzzing in the warm sunshine. Just as it should be! I love Bath on a sunny day.
  5. Fascinating cloud movements. Rainband edging just to the North moving East-West, showers forming just to my South moving West-East!
  6. Lol @jtay @Dorsetbred Front hanging around like a bad smell providing drops of rain. Thank goodness the lightbulb sun is visible through the cloud though!
  7. I had hoped the front would have been modelled correctly last night but it seems to be about 50 miles further South. Grim wet day incoming rather than turning better by mid morning!
  8. I know it’s been mentioned before but what is with the radar glitch near Winchester? It never normally bothers me however very rarely that is the direction this morning’s rain is coming from!
  9. markyo mate get yourself to Wiltshire it’s been 7c/8c with a strong cold Easterly since about 16.00! You would be in heaven!
  10. Hard to believe it’s May 2nd and been warm further North . At my son’s football training and it’s 8c, windy and drizzly. Winter coats and hats all round!
  11. After the fun comes the gloom. It’s something I have learnt over the years and have passed knowledge onto my nearly 8 year old son this morning. It’s almost always gloomy, foggy and drizzly the morning after a night storm.
  12. Alderc 2.0 I was thinking similarly as I listened to it hammering down for more than an hour after thundery activity moved away.
