    Rain down here think the next band will only produce snow on the hills further north and east.

    Strange light pollution effect here in the west of Swansea as the street lights seems to be reflecting off the snow and giving the clouds an orangy colour. This year just like 1999, the 8th Feb was a disappointment but the 9th produced some snow, today we had the best snowfall in my location since 1991 (can't verify that with any data though, just my opinion)

    Well its now just cloudy here, but around lunchime it was really snowy, here's two pics taken on mobile (as you can tell as it looks like we had heavy confetti in pic 2 )

    Looks lovely out there, still snowing and temps around 0.5°c, local school has now decided to close.

    been raining most of daylight hours however it does seem to be snowing (wet snow) too late now though

    Simular here although using a dewpoint calculator HERE, it says the DP is around -9°c, so maybe just maybe, although my location may hinder. Wind strenthening too.

    The lightning was quite a cool blue flash, also knocked out my internet connection for a while.

    I'll try, hopefully I will be able to do this most weeks. A very good forecast, Peter does seem to be the best at doing the week ahead forecasts IMO.

    about 7°c and its now fairly clear, after the longer and heavier than I expected rainfall this morning/lunchtime, more rain tomorrow, Where's my arc :unsure:

    Just to report that thunder and lightning was witnessed here around 1:45am and 1pm on New Years Day, start as we mean to go on hopefully :blush:
