Looking at it, it appears that those areas that got a good dump in February have seen very little this time round, whilst those who got very little in February appear to have a good amount now (like myself and Neil for example). Interesting that just a small shift in wind direction can make all the difference.

we had a good fall in february and the greatest amount of i have seen in my lifetime up here in oxford: Now!!

cheer up !! we still have the snow here in oxford but the temperature is at 1c .

20cm would prob of gone down to 18cm judging by it outside and looking on all sites there is snow expecting from 6pm-3am today.

Thurs nite:- Too far east the snow was

Fri:- Showers to south and north of us

Sat:- Rain then light snow - didnt settle

Sun Night:- Settled slightly..

Mon:- Rain first then bliazzrds only 2inchs

Tues and weds:- Zilch

As i speak lightnig outside and snowflakes in with the rain :S

-9.5 was the low last night..

Brize,High Wycombe and Benson are saying its 0c and been around that for a while..

When this rain moves up will it turn to snow here in oxford and ofcourse the bucks and mk area.?

loooking ahead i used metcheck not as reliable as netweather BUT.. If you look at next tuesday to wednesday.. Sleet with temps of 0c-2c and 24 hours of heavy stuff and gale force winds. This adds upto over 40mm.

Last report here now:- Oxford -9c and seems to be clear with fog and mist at times... and icey and snowy on foot!!

Also on xc weather a icon named ice crystals ova east anglia

And yes i was thinking that if temps are lower than expected wont tomoz ve lower which means when this precip band moves in it will be snow..??
