  1. Just heard a train has hit a tree in the dorrington area (near Hereford). Work on the rails myself and can say it'll be a manic day! CG

  7. I work for the railways and had emails regarding Friday, they get their forecasts/alerts from meteo group and are fairly confident of disruptions!
  8. Can confirm that! Had a couple of flashes and the rain is very intense! where is crewe cold??? probably at the window!!! CG
  9. Further to the above...it is on the lightning detector...at 14.45 stuck just east of Crewe! Finally...the sweet smell of a storm
