Mine is the same, she put her head out of the door, looked at me then went back to bed, don't blame her! It went really dark and overcast currently 13.2c and wet
Good morning all you North Westerners. Currently 11.2c and overcast. Hopefully it's going to be a dry one today for all those going to Ladies Day at Aintree, will wander over later to see the hats and sights
8.9c here, clouded over a lot now. Looked very threatening earlier to the east of me, the sky was black and I could see hail falling, probably Wigwam or Manchester way, it tried here but a very insignificant attempt.
Just driven home from Mossley Hill, it was sleeting fairly heavy but as I got further north of Liverpool it was lighter and more rainy, feels chilly out there
Was chucking it down here about half an hour ago, the wind really got up too, sounded like a squall passing through......................comfortably lounging in my PJ'S on MY sofa with my teddy bear blanky, first weekend off in 4 months woohoo!! Just checked radar it was just heavy rain earlier
Feels chilly out there this morning, currently dry and a mainly clear sky, 5c but feels like 0c, 1002hpa, and a gentle SW wind. I hope this 'cold' snap doesn't hang around for too long.
Was foggy here this morning, the ferries where cancelled again!, patchy in places but generally visibility was poor, temp didn't get above 8c, but it has felt much colder and it has been sooo gloomy all day, not spring like at all
Haha yea very meerky on the Meersey this again morning, it has gone here now, still a bit nippy out there, 8.8c and 74% humidity, not good when you have straightened your hair, flickin up al over the place!!
A meerky (that's scouse for murky for those down south) and foggy night out there, totally still, no wind at all, currently 4.5c, humidity 79%, and 1030hpa
What do I expect from Summer......I love the different seasons, and being totally unrealistic I expect warm sunny weather with thunderstorms in summer where I can go out without a jacket or just sit out and enjoy the warmth of the sun............ foggy an chilly nights and conker picking and the smell of wood smoke in Autumn up until December then I anticipate sunny frosty days and snow in abundance leading to spring storms and then April where I love the sight of spring flowers and bright green buds, crocus, carpets of daffodils and bluebells and the smell of the Hawthorn shrubs and hedges, ......................spring has to be my favourite season
