  1. See link here. Latest satellites and infrared show the storm approaching link.
  2. Dublin webcam, appears to be white alright. http://www.visitdublin.com/Multimedia/DublinWebcam/dublin.aspx
  3. All white here in Stamullen now What site you using for the radar Brig?
  4. Visible pic from a few hours ago before it got dark and the latest cloud top heights.
  5. http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/ showing Rick at 180mph winds:wacko: That correct??
  6. Arrgh, can't edit my own post so here is the new link. The link above no longer works because the storm got named.
  7. found a nice CloudSat pass right through Dublin (for those of us living around them parts  ) Grace was just SW off the Coast at the time. Nice 10km high cloud tops and a decent bit of rain showing up along rhe 0C line (orange dots)
  8. keep an eye on this directory for the latest visible satellite pics. They provide the intensity too.
  9. I dont claim to fully understand it all but here is what my understanding of it is. It's an estimate of the absorption loss of the observed reflectivity and it's measured in the mm^6 per m^3. It doesnt operate like a normal weather radar that mainly looks for rain. This measures the actual clouds also.
  10. Cloudsat made a run through the eye yesterday, no runs through it today so far though 125kts
  11. Anyone else think it very strange that NHC got it so wrong. It appeared fairly obvious that the storm was well below what they were showing on the various charts. I bet there are plenty of annoyed people in Antigua
  12. Recon data link. Copy and paste the data into the decoder.
